Talking points for Wednesday hearing

We have compiled a list of talking points and information about SB 22 that you can use to help you plan your testimony for tomorrow.  You can download them here.

It is important that we have our voices heard at this hearing.  Here's the information:

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

411 South
State Capitol

  1. If schools didn't rush into friendly union contracts, they'd have been able to make up the difference and not lose any jobs.

The taxpayers are fed up with your crap. There are a lot more of us than you.

Demanding more money isn't an option anymore.

  2. @Blocky,
Your comment on the talking points is not relavent to the talking points published here. Perhaps you didn't read them. I think the strongest of them refers to your taxpayer concern, (public employees are taxpayers too by the way).

Appointing people (or perhaps corporations-since we're treating them like people now?) to positions that are normally elected(school board) is taxation without representation.
